What is Reiki?
Reiki means universal life energy. It is a Japanese holistic healing practice that supports physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being through gentle energy work.
Using light touch or hands held just above the body, Reiki helps clear energetic blocks that contribute to stress, imbalance, and discomfort. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system — encouraging deep relaxation and restoring the natural flow of life force energy (ki or chi).

What You Can Expect
Sessions are 90 minutes and begin with conversation and intention-setting based on what you’re currently experiencing.
You remain fully clothed throughout the session. If in person, you may choose light touch or hands held above the body — your comfort and boundaries are always honored.
During the energy portion, you may experience:
Deep relaxation or a meditative state
Warmth, tingling, or subtle sensations
Emotional release
Visual imagery or intuitive insight
Or simply quiet stillness
There is no “right” way to experience Reiki. Every session is unique.
At the end, you’ll have time to gently re-orient. Some clients prefer quiet reflection; others choose to briefly process their experience. Both are welcome.
Rather than judging what happens during the session, I encourage clients to notice how they feel in the hours and days afterward — when the deeper integration often unfolds.
In stillness, the body remembers how to heal.

Sessions are 90 minutes and are available in person at my office in the Austin metro area or remotely via Zoom. In-person sessions take place in a peaceful, thoughtfully prepared space designed to enhance relaxation. For remote sessions, you’ll receive guidance on how to create a calm, supportive environment in your own home.
